So, I've been today to the HBP movie (BTW: in my beloved cinema: Bałtyk - I hate those places where you have 10 screens and they're all so small that you just can't watch comfortably). I dare say it was quite enjoyable (definately better than 1,2,4 and more or less better than 5 [but nowhere near as good as 3]).
Let's begin by the bad sides (because they're easier xD):
-horrible butchering of the plot (I guess that the only *really* good way of watching it would be to first read a relevant portion of a book, than watch a part of the movie, read the book, repeat as necessary)
-stupid romance parts (if I recall correctly they were almost nonexistent in the previous movies and here they become something along the lines of a plot-mover but one that takes way tooooooooooooo big a part of the story)
-unnecessary scenes (really long part with Harry and Hermione watching Borgin and Burkes, attack at the Burrow [well,it was nice and great looking but they could've inserted something different for hell's sake!])
-Cissy and Bella (they're for me both + and -; I dislike their portrayal because it differs in pretty much every aspect from what I've imagined and I love it because it fits perfectly with the rest of the movie)
-strange imagery of magic (non-verbal spells were supposed to be difficult and yet for the majority of time they never bother to say the name aloud!; apparation [at least for the DeathEaters] being something like a smoke (?) )
-Dumbledore making remarks about Harry's love life (come on, now everybody knows Dumbledore is gay...)
-change of Riddle (oh, the old Riddle, from HPCOS was awesome and this one is mundane for crying out loud)
And now for the uber-positives:
-the opening credits scene (represents in all fullness how grim the wizarding world has become)
-the attack on the muggles (nice imagery and I just love this flight through the streets of London)
-the Unbreakable Vow - just as it should be, 'nuff said
-the scenes with Ron under the influence of love-potion (even though I complain about the romance part of the movie I can't help but laugh at this and marvel how well they managed to include the bezoar part)
-the look at the sea just before Harry and Dumbledore enter the cave(this scene alone is worth watching the whole film [it's a real example of Scenery Porn, BTW])
-the lightning of wands after the death of Dumbledore (great, sad, made me cry - I'm not ashamed of it)
So that's all about it, if I were to rate the movie I would give it 14.5/20.
